About Me
Hi, I’m Allyssa! đđŒ The face behind Kindred Doula.
I’m a mama of four, a wife, a doula, and a student midwife with a deep love for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the incredible transition into motherhood.
My passion for birth began nearly a decade ago with the birth of my first baby. That experience planted a seed that eventually grew into a calling to support other women and families through their own journeys.
Today, I have the privilege of walking alongside families as they prepare for birth, labor, and those first tender days postpartum. I’m also a student midwife, continuing my education with the end goal of being a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM).
A few things about me outside of birth work:

â I have a serious appreciation for good coffee (maybe even a coffee addiction)
đ I love educating my clients on what is considered best practice
đĄ I homeschool my kiddos
đâïž I run, a lot (I’m currently training for two races in October)
đ± And yes… I probably think about birth more often than the average person
